TRON price in focus as Binance exploit flows heighten TRX risk

TRON price is under pressure as suspected Binance exploit flows put TRX selling risk in focus. The network's strong stablecoin activity provides longer-term context, but does not remove the near-term event risk.

TRON faces event-driven volatility

  • TRON price was shown at 0.318662 USD on the Investing.com page read on November 1, 2026.
  • Reports linked unusual TRX flows to a suspected Binance hot-wallet exploit and subsequent hacker selling risk.
  • TRON's Q3 network data showed 2.21 trillion USD in stablecoin settlement and 18 million monthly active addresses.
  • Investors are also watching a proposed smart-contract storage upgrade scheduled for November 2 if approved.

TRON price is being shaped by unusual on-chain flows after a suspected Binance hot-wallet exploit, rather than by a newly announced change to the TRON protocol. The Investing.com TRX/USD page showed 0.318662 USD when it was read on November 1, 2026, with a 24-hour volume of 919.27 million USD and a market capitalization of 30.38 billion USD. The page also listed 95.02 billion TRX in circulation. This was an intraday reading, not a verified UTC daily close.

Exploit flows raise selling risk

Invezz reported on October 31 that attackers had taken 612.7 million USDT and 46.4 million TRX from a Binance hot wallet on the TRON network, citing TRM Labs. The report said 234 million USDT was swapped for TRX on SunSwap because USDT can be frozen by its issuer, while TRX itself cannot be frozen by a central issuer. It also reported that 120 million TRX linked to stolen funds was moved to an unknown address and that several funded wallets sold 8.9 million TRX for 3.1 million USDT.

The report placed TRX at 0.308 USD at 17:50 London time on October 31 and said the token was down 7.0 percent over 24 hours at that snapshot. Because this figure came from a different venue and time than the Investing.com reading, it should not be treated as a direct comparison. CoinMarketCap's analysis likewise described the recent volatility as connected to exploit-related flows and broader market stress, while cautioning against attributing the entire market move to TRON-specific fundamentals.

Network activity remains substantial

Separate Q3 research summarized by TradingView reported that TRON settled 2.21 trillion USD in stablecoins during the quarter. Average daily settlement rose 3.9 percent to 24.05 billion USD, while rolling monthly active addresses increased 9.8 percent quarter over quarter to 18 million. The same report said TRON accounted for approximately 73 percent of stablecoin transfer volume at the end of Q3 and that USDT on the network exceeded 92.7 billion USD during the quarter.

Those figures support TRON's role as a major stablecoin settlement network, but network usage and token price are different measures. In the short term, the disposition of wallets linked to the suspected exploit may matter more to TRX liquidity than the underlying quarterly activity.

Upgrade is next dated catalyst

Invezz reported that TRON Proposal 108 could activate a smart-contract storage upgrade on November 2 at 12:00 GMT if approved by the network's Super Representatives. The proposal is therefore a clearly dated item for investors to monitor, although approval and market impact were not established in the cited report.
