USDe launches on X Layer on October 23, 2026: What it means for the Ethena USDe price

X Layer adds Aave access on October 23

The X Layer deployment makes USDe natively available on OKX's layer 2 network, a blockchain scaling system built on top of a base network. The CoinMarketCap report says OKX Wallet users gain direct on-chain access to mint, hold and swap USDe, while the initial Aave v3 market supports lending and borrowing. The launch also includes a route for future liquidity provision and one-click looping through the wallet, according to the same October 23, 2026 report.

62.78 USDe remained on X Layer

An assessment published by Aave governance records 62.78 USDe on X Layer as of October 12, 2026. The assessment says the chain had never held a material balance and that its daily supply had never exceeded 542.72 USDe since deployment. This figure describes the token balance on that chain, not the total USDe supply.

A separate October 12, 2026 review by EthenaDash counted 2.29 billion USDe in Ethena's LayerZero adapter on Ethereum. The adapter locks tokens that move to other chains, while the destination chain receives matching USDe, so the bridge balance is not additional supply. EthenaDash recorded 35 other chains with a combined balance within 95.45 USDe of the adapter figure at 18:41 UTC on October 12, 2026.

USDe trades at its dollar target

According to Investing.com, USDe trades at 1.000 USD as of October 25, 2026. The daily high is 1.000 USD and the daily low for the UTC day is 1.000 USD. Investing.com lists 18.65 million USD in 24-hour volume, a 4.95 billion USD market capitalization, rank 23 and circulating supply of 4.95 billion USDe.
