Revenue beats prior guidance
Subscription revenue was 23.9 million US dollars, while Amwell Medical Group visit revenue reached 23.7 million US dollars. Gross margin was 53 percent, and total platform visits were 0.8 million.
Net loss narrowed to 11.0 million US dollars from 31.9 million US dollars in the year-earlier quarter. Adjusted EBITDA, a non-GAAP measure, was a loss of 3.6 million US dollars, compared with a loss of 12.7 million US dollars in the third quarter of 2025.
Full-year outlook moves higher
Amwell raised its 2026 revenue outlook to 204 million to 206 million US dollars from 200 million to 205 million. The company also raised its adjusted EBITDA outlook to a loss of 7 million to 8 million US dollars and maintained its expectation for 1.32 million to 1.37 million Amwell Medical Group visits.
For the fourth quarter, management expects revenue of 48 million to 50 million US dollars and adjusted EBITDA ranging from break-even to positive 1 million US dollars. The company reiterated its objective of generating positive operating cash flow during the quarter. That target makes execution on visit volumes, subscription stability and cost controls the main near-term focus for investors.
Digital care platform remains central
Amwell provides payers and health systems with a technology-enabled care platform. Its software and services support clinical programs from Amwell and its partners, giving patients access to digital care across the care continuum. The company said its platform is designed to combine access, clinical programs and shared data for healthcare organizations in the United States.
