- Fiscal 2026 revenue declined as the pet-products maker faced a smaller operating base.
- The company is focusing on smart collars, harnesses, feeders and robots alongside traditional pet accessories.
- Nasdaq compliance and financing needs remain important issues for investors.
Dogness (International) Corporation reported a sharply wider loss for the fiscal year ended June 30, 2026, while revenue contracted. The figures were outlined in an analysis published by Intrinsic on October 1, 2026.
Revenue fell 23.3 percent to USD 15.884 million from USD 20.708 million in fiscal 2025. Net loss widened to USD 27.629 million from USD 5.101 million, while gross profit declined to USD 2.549 million from USD 5.025 million. Operating expenses rose to USD 31.358 million from USD 11.820 million.
Smart Products Remain Growth Focus
Dogness is developing traditional and intelligent pet products, including leashes, collars, harnesses, feeders and pet robots. Smart products generated USD 4.1 million in fiscal 2026 revenue, down from USD 6.3 million a year earlier, according to the same Intrinsic analysis.
The company is introducing next-generation C9 smart collars using 5G connectivity and C5 mini collars using NB connectivity. Related cellular subscriptions add a recurring-service element to a business still driven mainly by product sales.
Compliance Adds Investor Risk
Intrinsic also reported that Nasdaq notified Dogness on October 20, 2026, that its Class A common shares had failed to meet the USD 1.00 minimum bid-price requirement for 30 consecutive business days. The company received a 180-day compliance period ending April 19, 2027, to restore compliance.
Dogness says it may need additional debt or equity financing to support operations and investment. The fiscal 2026 filing period also included approximately USD 3.6 million of outstanding bank loans, according to the company summary.
Business Model And Competition
Dogness is headquartered in Dongguan, China, and designs, manufactures and distributes pet products through subsidiaries in China and other markets. Its portfolio spans traditional accessories and connected products sold through retailers, wholesalers, distributors and trading companies.
In smart pet products, Dogness competes with Tractive and Whistle in connected tracking, as well as PetSafe, Petcube and Furbo in connected feeding and monitoring. Garmin is a larger and better-capitalized competitor in tracking and training devices, while Dogness remains focused on a specialized pet-products niche.
