Emerald Resources reported high-grade drilling results from the quarter ended September 30, 2026, led by a 20-metre intersection grading 14.97 grams of gold per tonne from 523 metres at the Okvau Gold Mine in Cambodia. Discovery Alert reported the result on October 28, while also highlighting exploration at the company's Memot, Dingo Range and Snuol projects.

Okvau drilling points to depth potential

Hole RCDD26OKV824W1 included a five-metre section grading 45.93 grams of gold per tonne from 527 metres. Emerald drilled 64 holes over 14,389.7 metres at Okvau and nearby prospects during the quarter. The company said some intersections were outside the existing resource, while others could increase confidence in mineralised areas already modelled.

The September exploration update leaves about 4,500 Okvau assays pending. Those results may help clarify the scale of mineralisation beneath and around the existing open pit, although drilling results do not by themselves establish an economic reserve.

Memot reserve work moves forward

At Memot, the final roughly 1,000 infill assays from a 250-hole, 13,983-metre program are being incorporated into a resource update and a planned maiden ore reserve. The January 2026 mineral resource estimate for Memot stood at 45.0 million tonnes grading 1.2 grams per tonne for 1.70 million ounces.

Dingo Range in Western Australia produced a 2.1-metre intersection grading 101.02 grams per tonne from 405 metres. At Snuol in Cambodia, Emerald reported a 1.6-metre intersection grading 25.03 grams per tonne while assessing the project as a potential supplementary feed source for the proposed Memot processing plant.

Focused gold producer in Australia

Emerald Resources describes itself as an explorer, developer and producer of gold projects. Its portfolio spans Cambodia and Australia, with Okvau as its producing gold operation and Memot and Dingo Range among its growth assets. The company is focused on gold rather than a diversified mining portfolio, making project execution, exploration success and gold prices important drivers for investors.
