GreenRoc stock is tied to fresh progress at the Amitsoq graphite project. The company is preparing a Danish pilot plant for downstream battery-material testing.

Amitsoq development moves forward

  • GreenRoc completed eight Phase III drill holes and extended the known graphite mineralisation north-northwest.
  • The company plans to start a pre-feasibility study and target pilot-plant commissioning in January 2027.
  • Assays, resource classification and processing performance remain key milestones for investors.

GreenRoc Strategic Materials completed Phase III drilling at its Amitsoq graphite project in Greenland and received the main components of a purification line for its pilot plant in Denmark, according to an RNS announcement published by Investor Meet Company on Tuesday, October 27, 2026.

Drilling extends graphite zone

GreenRoc completed eight holes from three platforms. The drilling extended intersected graphite mineralisation by approximately 100 to 150 metres north-northwest of earlier drilling, while hole AM_DD_041 delivered the thickest estimated true intersection at approximately 23.70 metres.

The company said the drill core and related geotechnical and hydrogeological information are sufficient to proceed toward a pre-feasibility study. Any upgrade of the mineral resource or inclusion of the northern extension remains subject to assay results and assessment by the independent Competent Person.

Pilot plant targets next milestone

GreenRoc has received pumps, a filter press, reactor tanks, ovens and rinse tanks for the purification line at its Hørsholm pilot plant. Commissioning is targeted for January 2027 after an internal safety audit, with the company aiming to produce spherical purified graphite from a 20-tonne Amitsoq bulk sample and begin qualification discussions with potential offtake customers.

The first batch of drill core samples is being sent to ALS in Ireland for analysis. GreenRoc has also postponed further drilling to Phase IV, planned for spring or summer 2027, while it reviews proposals for the pre-feasibility study.

Project developer in a competitive field

GreenRoc Strategic Materials is a UK public company developing the Amitsoq graphite project in Greenland into a mine supplying graphite for electric-vehicle and battery markets in Europe and North America. Its downstream plan includes processing mined graphite into active anode material at a Danish pilot facility. In the broader natural-graphite and anode supply chain, the company is a smaller, project-stage developer compared with named peers such as Nouveau Monde Graphite, Northern Graphite and Graphite One, which are also identified as natural-graphite miners and processors by Meticulous Research.
