HomePro stock is entering the final quarter with improving operating signals after a seasonally weaker third quarter. In a company update dated October 28, 2026, InnovestX Research said HomePro's third-quarter net profit was in line with its estimate and maintained an Outperform view.
Third-quarter result remains resilient
InnovestX reported third-quarter net profit of THB 1.32 billion, up 1 percent year on year but down 17 percent from the previous quarter. The sequential decline was mainly attributed to seasonality, while slightly higher sales and a wider gross margin supported the year-on-year improvement.
Revenue increased 1 percent year on year despite weaker same-store sales. Heavy rain, late-September flooding, delayed deliveries and fragile purchasing power weighed on store traffic. At the same time, the private-label mix increased, helping gross margin expand to 27.4 percent.
October points to a better finish
InnovestX estimated October same-store sales growth of 8 percent year on year for HomePro and 10 percent for MegaHome. The research firm linked the improvement to post-flood demand for home-repair and cleaning products in Bangkok and nearby provinces.
The company opened a hybrid-format store in Min Buri during the quarter, taking its total store count to 150. InnovestX expects fourth-quarter earnings to be the strongest of the year, supported by positive same-store sales, store expansion, a higher private-brand mix and stronger supplier rebates. The fading benefit from lower-cost inventory could partly offset those factors.
Risks remain tied to consumers
For investors, the analysis points to a recovery that still depends on purchasing power and the durability of post-flood demand. InnovestX also identified changes in government policy as a key risk. Its forecast is therefore based on improving operating trends rather than a guaranteed earnings outcome.
