Hyundai Glovis has launched an integrated logistics service with Shopee Korea to help Korean cosmetics brands reach customers in Southeast Asia, according to The Investor. The service was launched in October 2026 and was reported on October 26.
One provider for cross-border delivery
The arrangement brings several logistics steps under one provider. Hyundai Glovis handles domestic pickup, international air and ocean freight, customs clearance, regulatory approvals and local order fulfillment for participating Korean cosmetics brands.
The model is designed to simplify overseas expansion by reducing the need for brands to coordinate separate logistics companies. It also addresses delivery timing, logistics costs and differing compliance requirements across destination markets.
Expanding beyond group-linked business
Shopee provides access to a large e-commerce user base across Southeast Asia and Taiwan, with operations also extending to Brazil. The companies plan to expand the cooperation beyond Southeast Asia into Latin America and other markets.
For Hyundai Glovis, the initiative supports a broader effort to diversify its customer base beyond Hyundai Motor Group. The company is targeting non-affiliated customers for 40 percent of total sales by 2030, using its road, sea and air freight network.
