Konya Cimento stock: Q2 profit returns as revenue advances

Konya Cimento reported a return to quarterly profitability in its second-quarter 2026 results, according to an August 11 update by Simply Wall St. The analysis said revenue reached 2.23 billion Turkish lira and net income was 112.4 million lira in the quarter.

Revenue supported the profit recovery

Simply Wall St reported that quarterly revenue was up 40% from the second quarter of 2025. The company had recorded a loss in the comparable period, while the latest result produced a net profit margin of 5.0%.

For investors, the figures point to a meaningful short-term improvement in operating performance. However, the latest result should be viewed in the context of Konya Cimento's uneven earnings history rather than as evidence of a durable trend on its own.

Longer-term earnings remain a concern

The same analysis said earnings per share had declined by an average of 58% a year over the previous three years. It also noted that the share price had fallen less sharply over that period, indicating that market performance and earnings development have not moved in lockstep.

Simply Wall St's report lists Konya Cimento as a producer and seller of cement, clinker and ready-mixed concrete in Central Anatolia and the Mediterranean region. The company's latest reported earnings period ended on June 30, 2026.
