Sabeco reported stronger earnings for the first nine months of 2026, with revenue growth, wider margins and higher operating cash flow supporting its shareholder-return plans. The figures were covered by Vietnam Investment Review on November 2, based on financial statements published on October 29.

Profit grows faster than revenue

Consolidated revenue reached more than VND20 trillion in the first nine months, up 5.1 percent from a year earlier. Net profit rose 8.9 percent to more than VND3.76 trillion, while gross profit advanced 13.5 percent to about VND7.6 trillion.

The gross margin widened to 38 percent from 35.2 percent a year earlier. Sabeco attributed the improvement to revenue growth, more favourable raw-material costs and better production efficiency, although competition and logistics expenses remained pressure points.

Third-quarter revenue increased 3.8 percent to about VND6.7 trillion. Net profit was slightly above VND1.27 trillion, with the comparison affected by accounting impacts related to the Sabibeco transaction in the same period of 2025.

Dividend sets the next date

Operating cash flow reached more than VND4.12 trillion in the first nine months, 23.1 percent above the prior-year period. The board approved an interim 2026 cash dividend of VND3,000 per share, with December 29 set as the record date and February 2, 2027, scheduled for payment.

For investors, the combination of stronger cash generation and the planned distribution supports Sabeco's established dividend profile. Future performance will depend on whether margin gains can offset competitive pressure, rising operating costs and changing beer consumption.

Products and channels broaden

Sabeco is preparing for the Lunar New Year 2027 peak season by developing products including 333 Triple Pure and 250ml cans. The company is also expanding modern trade, e-commerce and digital engagement channels to reach consumers through more routes.

Sabeco stock remains linked to the brewer's ability to turn its manufacturing scale and brand portfolio into sustainable earnings. The company operates 26 breweries with combined annual capacity above 2.45 billion litres and sells established brands including Bia Saigon and 333.

Sabeco's business and market position

Sabeco is a Vietnam-based brewer producing beer and related beverages under brands such as Bia Saigon and 333. Its production network spans 26 breweries, while its nationwide distribution system serves the domestic market and its product portfolio is being extended for changing consumer preferences.

The company holds a broad national operating platform rather than a narrow regional niche. Its scale, established brands and distribution reach support its position among Vietnam's leading brewers, while competition remains intense across products, prices and consumer channels.
