Wiwynn presented new technologies for AI data centers at the OCP Global Summit 2026, held in San Jose from October 12 to 15. In its OCP 2026 recap published October 20, the company described advances in computing, power, interconnects and cooling for scalable AI factories.

Rack-scale systems target AI demand

The portfolio included the NVIDIA Vera Rubin NVL72 and AMD Helios rack-scale solution. Wiwynn said the platforms address compute density, power delivery, connectivity and cooling, while its rack integration and manufacturing capabilities are designed to adapt systems to cloud service provider requirements.

The company also presented a rack-level architecture developed with Global Unichip and Ayar Labs. The system combines GUC multi-chip packages with Ayar Labs TeraPHY optical engines, with real-time telemetry used to demonstrate an active optical link and stable signal quality under thermal and wavelength changes.

Cooling remains a central focus

Wiwynn highlighted diamond-based microchannel cooling, a 6 kilowatt double-sided cold plate with cavity PCBA and vertical power delivery, as well as a lightweight cold plate and inner manifold design. The company said the technologies are intended to address the rising thermal and power constraints of high-density AI systems.

Taiwan's technology market remains an important backdrop for the country's AI infrastructure suppliers; investors can follow the TAIEX market environment.

Wiwynn develops computing, storage and rack-level infrastructure for data centers worldwide. Its offering combines system integration with power, connectivity and thermal engineering for cloud service providers. The company is positioning these capabilities around the infrastructure requirements of large-scale AI deployments.
