Forum Energy Technologies has successfully renegotiated its core credit agreement, achieving significantly improved terms that extend maturities and reduce borrowing costs. The market response was immediately positive, with the company's equity posting substantial gains on the news.

In a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC), the company detailed the amended agreement for its $250 million revolving credit facility. The maturity date has been pushed out from September 2028 to February 4, 2031. A central benefit for the firm is a reduction in its interest margin, which now ranges from 2.00% to 2.50% over the SOFR benchmark rate, down from the previous range of 2.25% to 2.75%.

The new arrangement also provides greater operational flexibility. The sub-limit for U.S. Letters of Credit has been increased from $70 million to $100 million. Leading the banking consortium for this revised facility are institutions including Wells Fargo, JPMorgan Chase, and Bank of America.
