Tall Users Finally Get an Office Chair That Fits – LiberNovo’s Maxis Series Supports 181 kg and 200 cm Height

Standard office chairs often leave very tall people slouching or unsupported. LiberNovo says it has a remedy with its new Maxis line, which officially launched on June 16, 2026. The seat is designed for users up to 200 centimeters in height and can handle loads of up to 181 kilograms, thanks to BIFMA certification that confirms structural stability.
Ergonomic measurements are tailored for larger frames. The seat depth comes in at 52 centimeters, while the backrest measures 43 centimeters across the shoulders and 52 centimeters in the lumbar area. A recline system allows tilt adjustments in five or six increments ranging from 105 to 160 degrees. The headrest moves 14 centimeters vertically and 12 horizontally, meant to support the cervical spine across different torso lengths.
LiberNovo offers three versions of the Maxis chair. The baseline “Manual” model uses mechanical adjustments. The “Electric” variant adds a powered lumbar support. Top of the range is the “Airflow” model, which includes integrated seat ventilation for people who spend long hours at a desk.
At the same time, the company refreshed its Omni series. The Omni SE is positioned as an entry-level choice. The Omni Pro brings a massage unit and a bionic FlexFit backrest made up of eight panels and 16 pivot points. Both Omni models support up to 136 kilograms and accommodate heights from 153 to 186 centimeters.
Several other players already serve the heavy-duty office chair market. Specialist dealers offer models such as the “Instructor SW I PRO” that can take loads up to 220 kilograms. Even Lidl now stocks ergonomic chairs rated for users up to 150 kilograms.
LiberNovo is offering an introductory discount on its new models until July 31, 2026. Prices range from €589 for the Omni SE to €1,269 for the Maxis Airflow. First Maxis deliveries are scheduled for August 10, 2026, with some units arriving in September. The frame carries a five-year warranty, while electronic components are covered for two years.
