What the Q2 update shows

The release also put first-half underlying EBIT at -€115.6 million, up €40.4 million year on year. Management linked the improvement to Markets + Airline transformation and cruise demand.

One-off effects from the Iran war still weighed on the quarter by €45 million, according to the same announcement. That makes the size of the EBIT improvement more notable than the negative absolute result.
