First Berlin Equity Research reiterated its buy rating and 83.00 euro price target on 2G Energy, pointing to final half-year figures that confirmed the preliminary results and to growth drivers that remain intact. The stock was up 7.4% today, though a media report linking the move to a Pareto Securities upgrade stops short of establishing that action as the sole cause.

Cash Flow and Net Cash in Focus

In its update, First Berlin put free cash flow at 30.2 million euros and the net cash position at 17.7 million euros, placing both the operating trajectory and the balance sheet at the centre of its assessment. The analysts cite data centres, mining and biogas as growth engines, with gas reserve power plants and large-scale heat pumps adding to the list. In the brokerage's view, capacity is fully booked through mid-2028.

The chief risk, First Berlin argues, lies in processing the order backlog on schedule. Its positive view of the growth prospects therefore rests on the condition that orders are executed on time.

Pareto Moves to Buy

Media reports flag a possible share-price catalyst in an upgrade by Pareto Securities, which raised 2G Energy to buy roughly a week ago and set a 62 euro target. The broker reportedly justified the move with improved growth prospects and a lower valuation.

Insider Purchases Reported

Alongside the research notes, mandatory disclosures show share purchases by SHH Spring Hunter Holdings GmbH, which bought 2G Energy stock on 16 October in several transactions; the filings were published on 19 October. One of the transactions carries an aggregated amount of EUR 48,400.00. The notices give no further indication of the buyer's motives.

What Comes Next

The company's next scheduled event is 23 November 2026, when 2G Energy intends to publish revenue and EBIT for the third quarter of 2026 along with information on business development — making revenue and operating profit the next set of corporate figures for investors. 2G Energy has also announced its participation in the Deutsches Eigenkapitalforum in Frankfurt am Main from 23 to 25 November 2026.
