Antimony Resources Banks C$3 Million for Bald Hill as 21.45% Antimony Core Sets the Bar
Published on 10/25/2026 at 15:50 | Editorial boerse-global.deAntimony Resources has closed a C$3,000,000 private placement to fund work at its Bald Hill project, the same week it reported drill intersections that include one of the highest antimony grades a junior explorer could hope to print. The two announcements tell different halves of one story: the assays describe what is in the ground, the financing describes what the company can afford to do about it.
The headline number from the Main Zone is 21.45% antimony over 1.10 metres. A second interval returned 15.0% antimony across 0.8 metres, itself sitting inside a broader mineralised stretch grading 4.36% over 13.0 metres. Read together, the figures show why peak grades and wider intersections deserve separate treatment — a spectacular single metre says little about tonnage, while the 13-metre run gives a sense of how much rock the mineralisation actually occupies.
Management is explicit that the drilling is groundwork for a maiden resource estimate, not the estimate itself. The programme is designed both to extend known mineralisation and to tighten the drill spacing. Until those results are compiled, the reported grades remain promising intercepts rather than a quantified resource, and treating them as the latter would get ahead of where the project actually stands.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Antimony Resources?
Placement priced at C$0.30, fully subscribed
The financing, which wrapped on Friday, saw 10,000,000 units issued at C$0.30 apiece, matching the maximum volume originally announced. Each unit bundles one common share with half a warrant; a full warrant can be exercised at C$0.50 until 23 October 2028. Antimony Resources also paid a C$180,000 cash finder's fee in connection with the placement.
Proceeds are earmarked for exploration and development at Bald Hill plus general working capital, so not every dollar is bound for the project. Investors should draw a line between the gross figure and the net cash actually available, and between the shares already issued and the conditional dilution the warrants represent. The new common stock is part of a completed transaction; the warrants are a potential future claim on the register that only materialises on exercise — and any cash from that exercise is not money already in hand.
Demand for the deal was never in question. On 16 October the company disclosed a fully subscribed order book, with a strategic mining investor taking the whole placement. Antimony Resources did not name that investor.
What the raise does not do is validate the geology. Capital buys the metres; the assays have to carry the story from there. For anyone weighing the stock, the interplay between the two matters more than either release on its own — the high-grade hits at Bald Hill offer encouragement, but the resource estimate they are meant to underpin has yet to be delivered.
