Antimony Resources Closes C$3 Million Placement, With a Strategic Mining Investor on the Register
Published on 10/25/2026 at 21:01 | Editorial boerse-global.deAntimony Resources has wrapped up its non-brokered private placement, issuing 10,000,000 units at C$0.30 apiece for gross proceeds of C$3,000,000 — hitting the maximum size the company had flagged when it announced the financing on 15 October. The order book was fully subscribed by 16 October, and with the Friday close the planned raise has become cash in hand.
A strategic mining investor took part in the placement, a signal of demand for the units at the agreed terms. That backing sits alongside the more immediate question of how the money gets used. Net proceeds are earmarked for exploration and development at Bald Hill as well as general working capital, so the gross figure should not be read as a drilling-only budget — the company's ordinary financing needs are part of the plan too. Costs belong in the same picture: Antimony Resources is paying a cash finder's fee of C$180,000 in connection with the placement.
Half a Warrant Per Unit
Each unit bundles one common share with half a warrant. The shares are already issued as part of the completed transaction; the warrants are a separate, conditional layer. Every whole warrant can be exercised at C$0.50 until 23 October 2028, opening a route to further capital — but only if holders choose to exercise. For existing shareholders the distinction matters: the new common shares are part of the finished deal, while the warrants represent contingent dilution and a potential future inflow that should not be conflated with the C$3,000,000 already raised.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Antimony Resources?
The operational backdrop came three days before the placement was announced. On 14 October the company reported drill results from the Main Zone at Bald Hill, including 4.36% antimony over 13.0 metres in hole BHW-26-19. According to Antimony Resources, the results extend higher-grade mineralisation southward toward the Central Zone.
Financing Is Not an Exploration Result
Put the two threads together and the logical link is clear: the raise funds further work, and the assay describes mineralisation. Neither on its own proves that Bald Hill can be developed economically. What the closing does deliver is financial headroom — and a visible price for that headroom, carried by the newly issued shares and the warrants hanging over the capital structure.
