Antimony Resources Wraps C$3 Million Raise as GBC Holds CAD 2.52 Target and Bald Hill Drilling Points South
Published on 10/26/2026 at 13:11 | Editorial boerse-global.deAntimony Resources has banked C$3 million in gross proceeds from a non-brokered private placement, giving the explorer fresh capital for its Bald Hill project just as drill results from the property's main zone sketch out a southern extension of higher-grade mineralization. The financing closed on Friday, and GBC reaffirmed its buy recommendation on October 16 with a price target of CAD 2.52, judged against a valuation horizon running to December 31, 2027.
The raise itself was straightforward in structure but carries a couple of moving parts worth separating. Antimony Resources issued 10 million units at C$0.30 apiece, with each unit bundling one common share and half a warrant. A full warrant can be exercised at C$0.50 until October 23, 2028. The company also incurred a finder's fee of C$180,000, which means the gross figure is not the same as the amount that can be plowed entirely into exploration. Any future warrant exercise would create additional shares and a further capital inflow, but that remains contingent on holders acting — it is not part of the money already raised.
A Single Strategic Backer Takes the Whole Offer
According to the company, a strategic mining investor subscribed for the entire offering. Proceeds are earmarked for exploration and development at Bald Hill as well as general working capital, so the cash serves both the project and the broader financing needs of the business.
What the placement does not do is settle the geological question. That distinction matters for anyone weighing the stock: closing a financing is an administrative milestone, while the planned maiden resource estimate is the reference point that will actually frame the project's economic significance.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Antimony Resources?
Drill Core Links High Grades to a Southern Push
The operational backdrop comes from results released on October 14 out of Bald Hill's main zone. Hole BHW-26-19 returned 4.36% antimony over 13.0 metres, and management says the near-surface mineralization extends the higher-grade material southward toward the central zone. That spatial claim is the geological takeaway — the grades are tied to an enlargement of the mineralized footprint rather than sitting in isolation.
The same hole also delivered 21.45% antimony over 1.10 metres. That narrow, exceptionally rich intercept and the longer mineralized run are separate findings, and investors would do well not to blur them into a single verdict on the whole project. Antimony Resources is using the drilling to expand mineralization and close data gaps ahead of the first resource estimate; the assays offer guidance for further exploration, not a substitute for the estimate itself.
The Metal's Own Price Cycle Cuts Both Ways
Antimony pricing forms a separate variable. Media reports said prices had stabilized after a two-week correction, a pullback attributed to easing raw-material tightness and weak demand. Stabilization, then, does not automatically signal that the demand side has turned a corner.
Put together, the picture is mixed rather than one-directional. A completed financing supports the planned work at Bald Hill, and the drill results add geological evidence — yet neither replaces an assessment of the project's economics. By the same token, the broader antimony price trend offers no company-specific explanation for the share price. GBC's target is an analyst's view, not a guaranteed valuation, which leaves how the raised capital is deployed and how the geology develops as the measures that will matter from here.
