Deutsche Telekom Heads Into November 5 With a Stronger US Arm and a Catalan Cloud Decision Pending
Published on 11/01/2026 at 08:51 | Editorial boerse-global.deDeutsche Telekom investors have two very different data sets to weigh before the group reports third-quarter 2026 results on November 5: a US subsidiary that just raised its full-year guidance, and a European enterprise pipeline where several announcements have yet to convert into signed, profitable business.
T-Mobile US delivers the hard numbers
The US arm reported third-quarter revenue of USD 23.6 billion, up 7 percent year on year. Adjusted EBITDA came in at USD 9.6 billion. More consequential for the group outlook, T-Mobile US lifted its full-year targets for both operating profit and free cash flow — a forward-looking signal rather than a record of results already booked.
Those figures are T-Mobile US's own and do not substitute for Deutsche Telekom's consolidated quarterly report, which remains the next scheduled checkpoint for assessing the group as a whole.
Buybacks already executed
Alongside the operating news, the Bonn-based company has been steadily retiring stock. From the program's start on August 10 through October 23 inclusive, it repurchased a total of 38,138,424 shares. That is a completed capital measure, distinct from the upgraded US guidance, which points to the future.

Enterprise deals at various stages of maturity
On the corporate-customer side, T-Systems agreed on Wednesday with Banco Sabadell to jointly expand the use of agent-based AI across the banking group. A day earlier, Deutsche Telekom and Rohde & Schwarz Networks and Cybersecurity unveiled a fully managed corporate network service, with a product launch still planned for 2026.
The most closely watched item is in Catalonia. According to media reports, T-Systems Iberia received a preferred-bidder proposal on October 23 to develop and manage a sovereign public cloud for the regional government. The volume is EUR 400.4 million including VAT over eight years — a long-term project figure, not an immediate earnings contribution. Final award is still outstanding.
What the November 5 report has to show
The distinction investors need to keep in view is between stages: a cooperation agreement is a foundation, an announced product has yet to launch, and a preferred-bidder status is not a final contract. Even a signed award would leave years of delivery and execution risk across the contract term.
Deutsche Telekom at a turning point? This analysis reveals what investors need to know now.
The bullish case rests on several initiatives reaching their next milestones and turning into profitable relationships; the bearish case is that timelines slip, a bid falls through, or new offerings fail to move the earnings needle at first. Either way, the number of fresh announcements alone will not settle the question. When the group publishes its third-quarter figures on November 5, the market will be able to set the project pipeline against actual operating performance — and see whether the US momentum carries through to the consolidated level.
