Echo IQ closed the September quarter with A$107.8 million in cash, a balance sheet boost that stems squarely from its July 2026 institutional placement rather than from operations. The company raised roughly A$110 million in that offering at an issue price of A$1.45 per share — a capital injection that transformed its liquidity position but says nothing about its commercial momentum.

That distinction matters, because the operating numbers tell a separate story. Full-result EchoSolv AS assessments reached 9,697 in the September 2026 quarter, up about 193% year on year. Over the first nine months of 2026, completed assessments totalled 29,117 — a gain of roughly 406% against the prior-year period, meaning growth across the year to date has actually outpaced the quarterly rate.

Investors should not read revenue into those figures. Assessment volumes measure platform activity, not sales. For FY26, Echo IQ reported revenue of A$91,646 and a net loss after tax of A$18.57 million, a result that included A$6.19 million in non-cash share-based compensation. Converting rising usage into actual income therefore remains the key test, and stronger liquidity improves the starting position without substituting for commercial progress.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying ECHOIQ?

Pipeline Offers Promise, Not Contracts

The sales funnel holds more than 70 US hospitals and health systems, while three enterprise-level proposals together cover over 300 hospitals. None of these are signed deals. What counts for shareholders is whether Echo IQ can turn the pipeline into binding agreements and, ultimately, revenue.

Regulatory risk sits alongside the commercial question, and it is concentrated in a different product. For EchoSolv HF, Echo IQ lodged a formal challenge in October 2026 to the FDA's "Not Substantially Equivalent" finding. The agency accepted the request, with a meeting expected within 30 days. Acceptance is not approval — it opens a further round of review without prejudging the outcome. EchoSolv AS, by contrast, already holds FDA clearance in the US, so the two products face markedly different regulatory footing.

Beyond the core products, an exclusive conditional data licence with Advara HeartCare grants access to up to one million de-identified echocardiography studies, and agreements with Pro Medicus have also been formalised.

The shares were up 17% on the day, having earlier traded 14% higher pre-market. The quarterly report pairs a strengthened balance sheet with growing product usage — but the durable re-rating case still rests on converting the sales pipeline into revenue and on how the EchoSolv HF review unfolds.
