JinkoSolar Sets October 30 Earnings Date as Subsidiary Flags RMB 2.98–3.58 Billion Nine-Month Loss
Published on 10/27/2026 at 15:11 | Editorial boerse-global.deJinkoSolar will release unaudited third-quarter 2026 results before U.S. markets open on October 30, the company said Friday, with a conference call scheduled for 8:30 a.m. Eastern Time. The report will arrive under the new corporate name Jinko Holdings Limited, a change the company confirmed as complete the same day. Depositary receipts have already begun trading on the NYSE under the new name, while the JKS ticker and CUSIP remain unchanged.
Subsidiary Loss Estimate Covers Only Part of the Group
Separately, subsidiary Jinko Solar Co., Ltd. published preliminary figures on October 16 projecting a net loss attributable to shareholders of between RMB 2.98 billion and RMB 3.58 billion for the nine months ended September 30, 2026. The estimate is unaudited and applies solely to the subsidiary, not to Jinko Holdings' consolidated results — meaning it cannot be read as a group-level forecast for the parent's upcoming report.
At the October 21 annual general meeting, shareholders approved all resolutions put forward, including the English name change. They also re-elected Gang Chu and Steven Markscheid as independent directors and confirmed PwC Zhong Tian LLP as auditor for fiscal 2026.
Analyst Bar Sits at a $2.42 Billion Top Line
Consensus ahead of the release points to revenue of $2.42 billion and a loss per share of $2.1108. That marks the hurdle the quarterly report must clear. The prior quarter, reported August 26, came in well short: earnings per share of ?$2.53 against a consensus estimate of ?$0.75, with revenue also missing expectations.

Storage Arm Joins Battery Passport Pilot
On the regulatory front, Jinko ESS — the group's storage subsidiary — is taking part in a new pilot phase of the Global Battery Alliance, according to a TaiyangNews report. The project centers on a 5 MWh storage product and traces information along the supply chain, from the finished system through battery cells and materials down to upstream mineral raw materials. Independent third-party verification forms part of the exercise, extending it beyond the simple recording of technical product specifications.
Jinko ESS is one of four consortia in this round to publish its findings. The experience is intended to help prepare for requirements under the EU Battery Regulation. For investors, the scope matters: the initiative concerns traceability and regulatory readiness, not a reported large order or a new revenue forecast, so no direct earnings contribution can be inferred from participation.
Black Module Launch Adds Product News
Product development has continued in parallel. On October 17, JinkoSolar unveiled the Tiger Neo 5.0, an all-black residential module rated at a maximum output of 510 watts with a module efficiency of 25.52%, according to company figures.
JinkoSolar at a turning point? This analysis reveals what investors need to know now.
The battery passport offers a concrete look at the storage unit's preparatory work, but it does not answer the question of the group's economic trajectory. That verdict will come from the quarterly figures themselves — and from whether JinkoSolar meets current expectations and what outlook it gives for the business ahead.
