Kuros Biosciences Delivers 40% Revenue Jump, But Shareholders Are Still Down 24% This Year
Published on 10/30/2026 at 14:21 | Editorial boerse-global.deKuros Biosciences has paired a sharp top-line expansion with positive adjusted profitability, reporting medical device revenue of USD 141.8 million for the first nine months of 2026 — a 40% increase over the same period a year earlier. The figures, released roughly two weeks ago, also included a group EBITDA of USD 13.5 million and an adjusted EBITDA figure of USD 20.6 million.
The Swiss group used that momentum as the springboard for a guidance raise. Its full-year 2026 revenue growth target now sits at 36% to 40%, up from previous expectations, with Kuros pointing to the continued strength of the business as the driver. Management also lifted its profitability ambition, calling for an adjusted EBITDA margin above 14.5% for the full year — a figure that applies explicitly to the adjusted result.
A Nine-Month Margin Snapshot
Alongside the revenue line, the nine-month report carried a profitability marker of its own: Swiss news agency AWP noted an adjusted EBITDA margin of 14.5% for the period. That gives investors a read on adjusted profitability for the reporting stretch, not just the top line, and provides a base against which the full-year target can be measured.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Kuros Biosciences?
The distinction between reported and adjusted figures matters here. The USD 13.5 million group EBITDA and the USD 20.6 million adjusted number sit side by side in the disclosure, and the company's margin guidance is anchored to the adjusted measure.
Market Reaction Runs Counter to the Fundamentals
Despite the upgraded outlook, the equity has had a difficult year. Kuros shares closed yesterday at EUR 22.58, leaving them down 24% since the start of 2026 — a decline that sits awkwardly beside the raised growth expectations for the current financial year.
Operationally, the company has been adding pieces. Commercial manufacturing of MagnetOs began at the new Alpharetta facility in October, a production milestone announced around two weeks ago. On the leadership side, Adam Wollowick joined as Chief Medical Officer just over a week ago; media reports describe a background spanning orthopaedic spine surgery, clinical research and corporate management, and Kuros lists him in the role on its own website.
What Comes Next on the Calendar
Investors waiting for the next hard data points have two dates to circle. Kuros will publish its 2026 annual results on 03.03.2027 — a report covering a different period from the nine-month figures already in hand. The trading update for the first quarter of 2027 follows on 13.04.2027, with the annual general meeting scheduled for 14.04.2027, putting the two April appointments on consecutive days.
