Lenzing Insiders Take Stock at EUR 8.65 as Heiligenkreuz Closure Slips to Early 2027
Published on 10/25/2026 at 06:41 | Editorial boerse-global.deLenzing's post-rights landscape is taking shape. The Vienna Stock Exchange processed the increase in the fibre maker's share count on Friday, adding 34,756,362 new shares to bring the total to 73,374,542. The step follows the completion of the capital increase through which Lenzing intends to shore up its balance sheet and fund its strategy.
The gross proceeds from the completed raise came to EUR 301.2 million, according to the company. Within the subscription offer, 34,411,626 shares were taken up — a take-up rate of 99%. Lenzing will channel the money into its "Grow Nonwovens, Reset Textiles" strategy and into strengthening its capital structure.
Insiders Exercise Rights at the Issue Price
Among those converting rights was B&C KB Holding GmbH, which acquired 8,689,086 Lenzing shares on Thursday at EUR 8.65 apiece. The transaction was executed off-market, as disclosed in a mandatory notification. B&C KB Holding is a related party of Patrick Lackenbucher, a member of Lenzing's supervisory board, meaning the stake was built through subscription rights rather than through purchases on the exchange.

Goldman Sachs Lifts Stake Past 4%
The Goldman Sachs Group, meanwhile, reported a larger aggregate position in Lenzing voting rights on Tuesday, raising it to 4.01% from 3.86%. Shares accounted for 2.59% of that total, with a further 1.43% attributed to financial and other instruments — the reported aggregate spanning several categories of voting rights.
Heiligenkreuz to Keep Running Into 2027
On the operational side, Lenzing has pushed back the planned halt of production at its Heiligenkreuz site. Media reports on Thursday said output there will now cease at the end of the first quarter of 2027, against an earlier target of the end of 2026.
A company spokesperson said the delay is meant to allow production to be transferred to other sites while keeping customers supplied. Roughly 285 people work at Heiligenkreuz.
