Lenzing's Heiligenkreuz Mill to Stay Fully Staffed Through March 2027 as Deutsche Bank Trims Target to EUR 12.70
Published on 11/03/2026 at 04:40 | Editorial boerse-global.deLenzing has moved to take the uncertainty out of one of its most closely watched industrial sites. Managing director Bernd Zauner said on Friday that the textile fibre plant in Heiligenkreuz will keep running at full staffing levels until the end of March 2027 — a commitment that stretches past the expected start of the bidding phase in the site's sale process, which media reports indicate will get under way in November.
That timeline matters because it fixes both the production run and the headcount at the facility while the next stage of the divestment unfolds. The offer phase is the next scheduled milestone in the sales process.
Deutsche Bank Slashes Valuation, Keeps Neutral Stance
Analysts at Deutsche Bank Research cut their price target on Lenzing shares to EUR 12.70 from EUR 22.00 on 28 October. The brokerage left its rating at "Hold," so the sharp reduction in the target came without any change to its investment recommendation.
The revised target lands as investors await the group's next set of numbers. Lenzing is scheduled to publish its third-quarter 2026 results on 5 November 2026, the next entry in its financial calendar.
