Mutares shares fell 3.3% in a weak German market, with Reuters pointing to soft US and Asian leads and rising oil prices as the drag on European equities. The drop came as investors weighed two planned portfolio exits — each at a different stage of completion — and a fresh price-target hike tied to one holding's potential listing.

Stuart Sale Secured, Natura Still Awaiting Clearance

The more advanced of the two transactions is the disposal of the logistics platform Stuart. Mutares received an irrevocable offer from Quiver for the Stuart parent company SRT Group SAS and its subsidiaries. The company expects the deal to close in the fourth quarter of 2026, subject to informing employee representatives. Stuart generated revenue of roughly EUR 50 million, according to Mutares.

The second exit, the sale of the Polish drugstore chain Natura, remains conditional. Roughly two weeks ago Mutares agreed the key terms with Grupa Specja?. Media reports indicated that signing of the purchase agreement and completion were targeted for the fourth quarter of 2026, contingent on approval from Poland's competition authority, UOKiK. No financial details were disclosed.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Mutares?

MPCM Lifts Target on Nord Gas Optionality

About a week ago, MPCM raised its price target on Mutares from EUR 41 to EUR 45 while reaffirming its buy recommendation. The assessment, reported by dpa-AFX, cited potential exit options at Nord Gas Solutions, including a possible initial public offering. In the analyst's view, the share price did not reflect the value of Nord Gas Solutions. An IPO was described as one option under review — not a confirmed transaction.

A Reporting Date That Precedes the Finish Line

Mutares will publish its nine-month figures for 2026 and its third-quarter report on 12 November. That date falls before the end of the quarter in which the company expects to close the Stuart transaction and aims to sign and complete the Natura sale — leaving investors to track two separate regulatory and procedural timelines against a single reporting deadline.
