Nokia's Five-Year India Engineering Pact Lands Alongside a Wave of AI-RAN Alliances
Published on 10/27/2026 at 15:41 | Editorial boerse-global.deNokia has secured a five-year agreement with India's L&T Technology Services to support its engineering and research operations in the country, the partner firm disclosed yesterday. The contract lands in a busy stretch for Nokia's partnership machine. A day earlier, Nokia and SoftBank had agreed a commercial AI-RAN field trial in Japan for 2027, drawing on Nokia's anyRAN software, SoftBank's AITRAS platform and NVIDIA's Aerial RAN Computer.
Satellite Ambitions and a Divestment
On Thursday, Nokia and ICEYE signed a memorandum of understanding with Ukraine's defence ministry, with the partners set to explore cooperation on building sovereign satellite communications capabilities.
