PNE will report third-quarter 2026 figures on 12 November 2026, giving investors their first detailed look at a wind developer whose profit outlook has been recast twice in a matter of days — first by the company itself, then by two research houses that trimmed their price targets in response.

The Cuxhaven-based group now guides to 2026 EBITDA of EUR 60-75 million, a sharp markdown from the previous EUR 90-120 million range. Normalized EBITDA is projected at EUR 65-80 million. Management pointed to slower transaction processes and permitting delays as the drivers, and confirmed that several wind farms originally earmarked for sale will instead stay in the company's own portfolio. Those postponed projects are now slated for realization in 2027.

Two Brokers, Two Targets, One Direction

SMC Research cut its price target to EUR 8.90 from EUR 9.80 on 16 October, according to media reports, while keeping its speculative buy rating. The analysts cited the delayed divestment processes and the larger planned own-portfolio holdings as reasons for the revision — though they flagged the latter as a potential plus for future electricity revenue.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying PNE?

First Berlin Equity Research had moved roughly two weeks earlier, lowering its target to EUR 8.30 from EUR 10.00 and reaffirming its buy recommendation. Alongside the project delays, First Berlin singled out the higher interest-rate environment as a factor behind its adjustment.

Ownership Register Shows Contrasting Moves

Behind the revised numbers, the shareholder register has been shifting. Union Investment reported on 20 October that its attributed voting rights in PNE had fallen to 2.96%, with the threshold touched on 19 October. The prior notification had shown 3.06% held through shares and 1.77% through instruments — a combined 4.83%.

Morgan Stanley moved the other way. On 15 October the US bank disclosed an attributable total of 52.15%, up from 50.07%, with the relevant threshold crossed on 8 October. The mandatory filing attributed the increase to the acquisition of client securities over which Morgan Stanley & Co. International plc holds a usage right — a notification that explicitly covered that usage-rights constellation.

The two disclosures land against a backdrop of operational recalibration at PNE, whose revised guidance now frames the 12 November quarterly statement as a key checkpoint for investors weighing whether the delayed project sales can be recovered next year.
