Primary Hydrogen Opens Wicheeda North Drill Campaign as Filings Reveal Going-Concern Warning
Published on 11/06/2026 at 13:22 | Editorial boerse-global.dePrimary Hydrogen has launched its first drill program at Wicheeda North in British Columbia, with roughly 1,500 metres of drilling planned across about seven holes. The campaign, which began on Tuesday, targets a northwest-trending soil anomaly in rare earth elements — the geological centrepiece of the project.
The company has previously reported soil sample values of up to 932.21 ppm TRE+Y. That figure relates to the sampled soil, not to results from the drilling now underway. Management expects the program to wrap up within a few weeks, according to the announcement made at the start of work.
Investors should be clear on what the release does and does not say. It concerns rare earth exploration at Wicheeda North; it does not report any drill results for natural hydrogen. The distinction matters for anyone reading the news as a signal on the company's hydrogen ambitions.

Losses Narrow Over Nine Months
The financial backdrop comes from interim filings submitted a little over a week ago, covering the third quarter of 2026 and the nine months to 31 August 2026. Primary Hydrogen reported a net loss of C$555,779 for the third quarter. For the full nine-month stretch, the net loss came to C$770,588.
Including other comprehensive income, the total loss for the nine-month period was C$771,016. On a per-share basis, the third-quarter loss worked out to C$0.09.
The cumulative deficit stood at CAD 6,511,060 as of 31 August 2026. The financial statements also carried a note flagging material uncertainties regarding going concern — uncertainties that could raise substantial doubt about whether Primary Hydrogen can continue operating. That language points to a potential threat to the company's ability to keep running, not a finding that operations have already ceased.
Market Reaction Unconnected to Drill News
Shares in Primary Hydrogen slipped 2.8% yesterday, closing at €0.5250. No causal link between that day's move and the Wicheeda North exploration announcement has been confirmed.
