Realty Income Faces Lower Analyst Targets as Ohio Tech Acquisition and Q3 Print Loom
Published on 10/28/2026 at 15:10 | Editorial boerse-global.deRealty Income is drawing a more cautious reception from the analyst community, with three separate price-target cuts landing in quick succession — even as the net-lease giant continues to deploy capital into new properties and prepares to report third-quarter results.
Barclays trimmed its target on the San Diego-based REIT to $61 from $65 on October 20, keeping its Equal Weight rating intact, according to media reports. That move came a day after two other houses made similar adjustments. Wells Fargo lowered its own target to $59 from $64 on October 19, also holding at Equal Weight. A third action reported the same day cut a target to $59 from $61 while leaving a Neutral rating in place.
The upshot: price targets now cluster in a narrow $59-to-$61 band. In each of the three cases, the analysts revised their target price but left their rating on the shares unchanged.
Trading reflected some of that restraint. The stock slipped 1.3% in recent action to €50.60, a day after it had added 0.3% to close at €51.25. The analyst targets are quoted in dollars, while the share price is listed in euros.

Income Stream on the Calendar
Alongside the analyst activity, investors have a scheduled distribution to factor in. Realty Income declared a monthly dividend of $0.2715 per common share roughly two weeks ago — equivalent to $3.258 per share on an annualized basis, according to company figures. The payout is set for November 13 and goes to shareholders of record as of October 30.
Eyes on the November 2 Report
Attention is now shifting toward the company's third-quarter 2026 earnings release, slated for November 2, according to media reports. A preview published yesterday highlighted acquisition yields, investment spreads and leverage as the key items to watch. The same outlook flagged possible updates on Realty Income's data-center joint venture and its private-capital funds, putting both activities on the watch list alongside the quarter's headline numbers. The preview did not draw any link between the stock's prior-day gain and the upcoming report.
Ohio Purchase Adds a Fully Leased Asset
Against that backdrop, the company's investment pipeline remains active. About two weeks ago, Realty Income completed the acquisition of New Albany Tech Park 300 in Ohio from VanTrust Real Estate. The property spans 300,400 square feet and is fully leased on a long-term basis to a technology and AI company, adding a fully occupied asset to the portfolio.
