Redcare Pharmacy has pushed past the 15 million mark in active customers across seven European markets, a milestone the company disclosed yesterday. The stock nevertheless slipped 1.1% in today's trading, showing that the customer announcement alone was not enough to lift the shares.

Retention figures released alongside the headline number were arguably more striking. Redcare said its repeat-order rate in the third quarter of 2026 came in above 90%, a signal of how sticky its customer base has become.

Two Buy Ratings, Two Very Different Targets

Analyst reaction to the company's quarterly results, published roughly a week ago, has been uniformly positive on direction but far apart on magnitude. MPC Capital Markets (MPCM) raised its price target on Redcare to EUR 125 from EUR 120 on Tuesday, according to media reports, while reaffirming its buy recommendation. Warburg Research also lifted its target, holding its buy rating unchanged, in a move tied directly to the quarterly figures.

Jefferies took a different path. The house reiterated its buy call on Tuesday but kept its target at EUR 97, leaving both its rating and its price objective untouched. Its commentary focused on customer activity metrics for October.

October Brings a Slower Start

Not all the data points in the same direction. Reuters reported that growth in Redcare's non-prescription business stayed below 10% at the outset of October. Investors were weighing a softer near-term revenue outlook against persistent competitive pressure following the quarterly release — a reaction that reflected the negative share-price response to the results themselves, not Friday's trading.

The Numbers Behind the Ratings

For the third quarter of 2026, Redcare reported revenue of EUR 846.7 million, an increase of 18% year over year. Adjusted earnings before interest, taxes, depreciation and amortization came in at EUR 28.7 million, with the corresponding adjusted EBITDA margin improving to 3.4%.

The nine-month picture through 2026 showed revenue of EUR 2.55 billion, up 19% from the same period a year earlier.

Alongside the results, Redcare confirmed the guidance it had previously raised for the full year 2026. Management expects total revenue growth of 16% to 18% and an adjusted EBITDA margin of between 2.5% and 3.0%.
