Renk's nine-month report card landed on Thursday with the company's full-year targets intact, and the analyst community wasted little time endorsing them. Jefferies reiterated its buy rating with a 60 euro price target, while JPMorgan kept its overweight recommendation and a 50 euro target. Other research houses weighed in with targets stretching from 50 to 73 euros, and one valuation put fair value at 56 euros.

The numbers behind the confidence are hard to argue with. Order intake for the first nine months of 2026 reached 1,664.4 million euros, a jump of 33.6 percent year on year. Revenue advanced 5.8 percent to 982.0 million euros, and adjusted EBIT climbed 12.7 percent to 158.8 million euros. The order backlog stood at 7.6 billion euros at the end of the period.

Guidance Confirmed, With a Nudge Toward the Top

For the continuing business, Renk's board reaffirmed its forecast of roughly 1.4 billion euros in revenue. On adjusted EBIT, the company is aiming for the upper half of its confirmed range of 240 million to 255 million euros — a more specific signal than the corridor alone would give. Jefferies analyst Chloe Lemarie noted that the quarterly results had largely matched expectations.

What tempers the picture is the pace at which that swollen backlog turns into revenue. Chief executive Alexander Sagel, speaking to Reuters, cautioned that delays at major defence contractors could slow the conversion of orders into sales, pointing to hold-ups in Germany's Boxer programme as an example. The warning lands at a moment when Renk's order growth is running well ahead of its top-line expansion.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Renk Group?

Sagel put his own money behind the story, purchasing Renk shares on Thursday, according to a mandatory disclosure naming that day as the transaction date.

Engineering Momentum Beyond the Core

Product news has kept coming alongside the financials. On 30 October, Renk reported progress on the HSWL 406 transmission for future heavy tracked vehicles, designed for output of up to 1,400 kilowatts. The company is steering that development toward international programmes, Italy's NMBT among them.

A day earlier, Renk unveiled maritime propulsion solutions for unmanned surface vessels ahead of Euronaval 2026. Its Renk Magnet-Motor unit also booked an order from Saab for three Stirling power generation systems destined for a submarine programme run by a NATO member state.
