T1 Energy has secured offtake agreements covering more than 1.58 GW of solar modules, with subsidiaries of independent power producer Avantus among the counterparties. The company said the deals lift its contracted order book to over 4 GW of manufacturing capacity earmarked for 2027.

Deliveries under the new arrangements are scheduled for 2027 and 2028, drawing on TOPCon modules from T1 Energy's G1_Dallas plant. The company intends to feed that facility with a blend of imported solar cells and cells produced domestically — the latter sourced from its G2_Austin cell factory, which is still under construction. The supply package for the new customers therefore rests on two legs: cell imports today and planned in-house cell production in Texas down the road.

Waiver Keeps Dallas Running Through the Build-Out

Underpinning the module plant's output is an exception granted by the US Commerce Department, which T1 Energy disclosed on October 22. According to the company, it permits imports of solar cells with a capacity of up to 1.725 GW to support production at G1_Dallas. T1 Energy classified the authorization under the Section 232 polysilicon process, describing it as a means of maintaining uninterrupted manufacturing while construction of its Texas cell plant proceeds. The claim about continuous output is the company's own and applies specifically to the build-out phase.

Earnings Date Set, With a Morning Call

Investors get their next look at the numbers on November 12, when T1 Energy plans to publish third-quarter 2026 results at roughly 6 a.m. US Eastern time. Management has scheduled a conference call for 8 a.m. Eastern the same day. The announcement itself carried no business figures — it simply fixed the reporting date and the follow-up call.

Evervolt Share Payment on Hold at the 4.99% Line

Separately, a mandatory disclosure showed that T1 Energy had resolved to issue 9,962,645 common shares to Evervolt as the third installment of consideration for intellectual property. That tranche is valued at $30.0 million. The share issuance has been deferred because of a 4.99% ownership threshold, making it a decided but not yet completed transaction rather than a finished placement.

Market Reception

The stock slipped 1.6% on the day the contract news landed, and the company did not identify any specific trigger for that move. The prior session had gone the other way, with the shares gaining 3.4% to close at €2.44.
