Tilray Reaffirms 2027 EBITDA Target as Jefferies Trims Its Bearish Stance
Published on 10/30/2026 at 15:21 | Editorial boerse-global.deTilray Brands is pressing ahead with a fresh restructuring of its US beverage operations, pairing the overhaul with a confirmed profit outlook and a modestly more constructive note from Jefferies. The cannabis-and-drinks group said yesterday that the latest phase of changes should deliver annual cost savings of roughly $20 million, a target it aims to reach by the end of fiscal 2028.
That savings figure is a goal tied to the restructuring rather than cash already banked. Separately, Tilray reiterated its forecast for adjusted EBITDA of $68 million to $75 million in fiscal 2027 — a range that covers the earlier period, while the cost program stretches into the following year.
Jefferies Lifts Its Target, Keeps Its Caution
On the same day, Jefferies raised its price target on the stock to $13 from $12, according to media reports. The upgrade to the target did not come with a warmer recommendation: the analysts stuck with their "Reduce" rating, so the higher marker reflects a nudged valuation rather than a change of heart on the shares.
Jefferies pointed to a leaner brewery network and expected Carlsberg volumes as possible drivers of better utilization and improved returns. That view ties the firm's thinking to both the production footprint and the additional volume it anticipates flowing through it.
Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Tilray Brands?
Investors, for their part, were unmoved. The stock slipped 1.9% yesterday, meaning neither the savings plan nor the higher analyst target translated into a gain on the day.
A Quarter of $257 Million in Revenue
The restructuring lands against a backdrop of $257.15 million in revenue that Tilray reported for the first quarter of fiscal 2027. The confirmed EBITDA guidance spans the whole company, while the transformation step unveiled yesterday is confined to the US drinks business.
Brand News Rolls In Alongside the Overhaul
Tilray's subsidiaries also kept up a steady stream of product announcements. Breckenridge Distillery teamed up with University of Denver Athletics on a limited whiskey honoring Denver's 2026 NCAA men's ice hockey championship, with $100 from every bottle sold directed to scholarships for the men's hockey team. The run is capped at 230 bottles, tying the special release to support for college sports.

Two other units made their own headlines. Blue Point Brewing Co. said on October 22 that its annual Cask Ales Festival would return to Patchogue, where more than 100 small-batch brews are set to be poured. A day earlier, Tilray-owned BrewDog and West Ham United Football Club unveiled Boleyn Brew, a fan-designed beer built for matchdays.
