Tilray Wins a Higher Jefferies Target Without Shedding Its Sell Rating
Published on 10/30/2026 at 15:12 | Editorial boerse-global.deJefferies raised its price target on Tilray Brands from $12 to $13, yet left its "Reduce" recommendation untouched — a split verdict that captures the company's awkward position as it reshapes its American drinks business. The upgrade, reported yesterday, rests on the brewery restructuring and on additional volume expected to flow from the Carlsberg partnership.
A Leaner Brewery Network
At the heart of the overhaul is a consolidation already completed: Tilray has cut its US brewery footprint from ten sites to six. Building on that, the company unveiled the next transformation phase for its US beverage operations, targeting roughly $20 million in annualized cost savings by the end of fiscal 2028.
Those savings are a goal tied to the restructuring, not money already banked. Meanwhile, management reaffirmed its adjusted EBITDA guidance for fiscal 2027 at $68 million to $75 million — a company-wide figure that stands apart from the beverage-specific revamp.
The Carlsberg tie-up in the US is scheduled to launch on January 1, 2027, with Tilray aiming for about one million cases in its first year. For context, the company posted revenue of $257.15 million in the first quarter of fiscal 2027.

Shares Slip as Restructuring News Lands
Investors greeted the announcement without enthusiasm. The stock shed 1.9% yesterday, the same session in which the next phase of the shake-up was disclosed — though no single trigger for the move has been established.
Brand Activity Across the Portfolio
Away from the balance-sheet story, Tilray's subsidiaries kept up a steady stream of product news. Breckenridge Distillery and University of Denver Athletics unveiled a limited-edition bourbon — 230 bottles in all — honoring Denver's 2026 NCAA men's ice hockey championship, with $100 from every bottle sold directed to scholarships for the university's men's hockey team.
Blue Point Brewing Co., another Tilray label, announced on October 22 the return of its annual Cask Ales Festival in Patchogue, where more than 100 limited-run brews will be poured. A day earlier, BrewDog and West Ham United Football Club introduced Boleyn Brew, a fan-designed beer built for matchdays.
