Volatus Aerospace will pay for its acquisition of Lithuania's AISPECO UAB largely in its own paper. Under the agreement struck on 14 October, the company is to buy all shares in the target for a base purchase price of US$10.5 million, with US$3.0 million settled in cash and the remaining US$7.5 million handed to the sellers as Volatus stock.

The transaction has yet to close. Completion remains subject to customary conditions, among them a conditional approval from the TSX. A further US$2.5 million could be added to the consideration if agreed milestones are hit over a three-year period — an earn-out tied to performance rather than a fixed part of the base price. Press reports indicate the planned takeover would fold airborne sensors and mission software into Volatus's business, adding technology designed for use from the air.

NATO Order Moves Into a Second Phase

On the operational side, Volatus has wrapped up the first drone delivery to a NATO partner. That initial tranche covered ISR training systems worth roughly C$4.5 million. According to the company, the customer has now begun exercising its option on a second tranche, and additional orders have already come in under the contract. The potential total volume of the agreement stands at up to C$9 million.

Should investors sell immediately? Or is it worth buying Volatus Aerospace?

The market, for its part, has yet to reward the run of positive news. Volatus shares closed yesterday at €0.3080, leaving them 45% below their 52-week high.

Three Analysts, Three Buy Calls

Brokerage opinion has been stacking up. On 21 October, Nicholas Boychuk of ATB Cormark initiated coverage on Volatus with a speculative buy rating and a price target of C$1.00, as reported by The Globe and Mail. The explicit speculative tag is part of the research house's recommendation.

That initiation followed earlier moves. About two weeks ago, Ventum Capital lifted its target to C$1.00 from C$0.95 while keeping its buy rating. A further analyst house, according to media reports, raised its own target to C$0.95 from C$0.90 over the same stretch and likewise reaffirmed its buy call. The two earlier actions thus delivered higher targets without any change in rating, whereas the ATB Cormark move marked that firm's first assessment of the stock.

Investors now have a date to circle: the third-quarter 2026 results are expected on 26 November, per media reports.
