Depeche Mode release the new remix Survive (Arena Mix | KÁRYYN Rework) on 13 November 2026 as part of The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping - The Album. The collaboration places the British electronic band on a 29-track film soundtrack issued through MCA.
Depeche Mode put a new remix on a film soundtrack
The track is a reworked version of Survive, with KÁRYYN credited alongside Depeche Mode. The full title identifies the contribution as an Arena Mix and KÁRYYN Rework. The Apple Music listing gives 13 November 2026 as the release date.
The remix draws on a song from the Memento Mori sessions rather than introducing a newly written Depeche Mode composition. A Musikexpress report says KÁRYYN also supplied the new mix and additional vocal parts.
Depeche Mode bring synth-pop history to the project
Depeche Mode began in Basildon, Essex, in 1980. A BBC biography identifies Dave Gahan and Martin Gore as the current members.
The band developed from electronic new wave into a darker synth-rock style. The new remix keeps that electronic foundation while placing it beside KÁRYYN’s contribution and the broader soundtrack programme.
The Hunger Games album gives the remix a wider setting
The various-artists collection brings Depeche Mode together with performers including Stevie Nicks, Kacey Musgraves, The Smashing Pumpkins and The Cure. Its 29-song tracklist places Survive (Arena Mix | KÁRYYN Rework) at number 19.
The soundtrack is also tied to the film’s German cinema release on 19 November 2026. The album’s release comes six days earlier, giving the Depeche Mode collaboration a place in the musical build-up to the film.
