Dua Lipa’s festival appearance centred on Royal Festival Hall
The Southbank Centre programme listed conversations with Zadie Smith about White Teeth and with Mustafa about Nour on 24 October 2026. Both events took place at Royal Festival Hall within the London Literature Festival, whose location is Southbank Centre in London, according to the festival programme.
The festival brings together talks, readings, discussions and conversations with established and emerging literary voices. Lipa’s curatorship was organised in partnership with Service95 Book Club, extending her role from performer and recording artist into live literary programming.
Service95 gave Dua Lipa a literary role beyond music
On 24 October 2026, the singer hosted conversations rather than a concert set, placing books, poetry and cultural discussion at the centre of her public appearance. The programme connected her own reading platform with writers whose work formed part of the festival’s schedule.
A post-event account described the 24 October 2026 appearance as Lipa’s first time curating the festival. It also placed her on the Royal Festival Hall stage for conversations with literary guests during the weekend programme.
London Literature Festival continues at Southbank Centre
The wider London Literature Festival continues through 1 November 2026 at Southbank Centre. Its programme spans book launches, poetry, lectures, discussions and Service95 Book Club events across the venue’s spaces.
That setting gives Lipa’s curation a broad format: the event combines author conversations with spoken-word programming and public discussions. The Royal Festival Hall appearance therefore formed one part of a larger literary programme shaped around reading and live exchange.
