Gigi Perez’s Favor joins a 29-track soundtrack
Dork gives the release date of 30 October 2026 and identifies Favor as an original song for the soundtrack. The official listing for Favor places the track alongside Perez’s other releases.
The 29-track soundtrack album is due via MCA on 13 November 2026. The film follows in cinemas on 20 November 2026, giving the single a place within the music programme for the forthcoming release.
Gigi Perez brings indie-folk songwriting to film music
The announcement identifies Gigi Perez as a Cuban-American singer, songwriter and producer from South Florida. Her work combines indie-folk songwriting with an alternative-pop audience, while Favor adds a film soundtrack credit.
Her debut album At the Beach, In Every Life came through Island Records and includes the breakout single Sailor Song. That catalogue background connects the soundtrack contribution with the self-produced album work that established her wider profile.
Gigi Perez and Aidan Hobbs share the Favor credit
Gigi Perez wrote and produced Favor with Aidan Hobbs. The collaboration gives the song a direct songwriting and production link to Perez rather than making it solely an interpretive performance.
The soundtrack running order places Favor at number 13. The album also carries tracks credited to The Smashing Pumpkins and Noah Kahan, alongside music created for the world of Panem.
