The 13-track record marks the quartet’s move towards a more stripped-down, acoustic-led sound. Love Tap Records and Virgin Music are attached to the release.
Kings of Leon shape O My Beloved around a 13-track November release
The album is the band’s next full-length statement and contains 13 tracks. The 6 November release date is tied directly to the title O My Beloved.
The record is presented as a self-produced project. Its musical profile is less electric and more intimate than the broad rock sound associated with the group. The writing centres on gratitude, family and childhood memories, while the cover credits Love Tap Records and Virgin Music.
The quartet connects the album to Nashville songwriting
Caleb, Nathan, Jared and Matthew Followill make up the four-member band. Caleb is identified as the frontman, Nathan as the drummer and Jared as the bassist, while Matthew completes the line-up.
Kings of Leon’s Nashville connection runs through the project’s setting, with the title piece made near the band’s Nashville studio. The result links the November record to the quartet’s shared writing history. Its official music catalogue lists O My Beloved alongside the group’s other releases.
My Whole World and KOYSAR frame the new record
Several titles flesh out the album’s shape. The track list includes My Whole World, Cold Blue Dawn, KOYSAR, Such a Pretty Thing and the title piece.
The sequence combines personal songwriting with a short title interlude and childhood imagery. Together, those elements give the 13-track set a clear thread without moving it outside Kings of Leon’s established band format.
