Kontra K releases the classical album Porzellan on 18 December 2026, bringing an orchestral project linked to Channel Aid into his catalogue. The Berlin rapper presents it as a companion to the forthcoming Aus der Asche, not as that album itself.
Kontra K’s orchestral album arrives on 18 December
The album is described as a classical release built from older and new pieces in orchestral arrangements. Live and Loud confirms the release date and identifies Porzellan as an independent album alongside Aus der Asche.
The project follows the song Porzellan, made with Ness, and extends the orchestral approach heard in Kontra K’s Channel Aid production. Its December arrival gives the classical material a separate release from the rap album planned for 12 March 2027.
Kontra K connects Porzellan to a Hamburg performance
Kontra K is a Berlin-based rapper working in hip-hop. The album’s arrangement-led format grows from the Channel Aid production at Hamburg’s Deutsches Schauspielhaus, where newly arranged versions of his songs were presented with an orchestra.
The official project page places Porzellan beside Aus der Asche and labels the former as the orchestral title. That presentation also separates the December record from the energetic rap album that follows in spring 2027.
Aus der Asche continues with a 2027 arena tour
Aus der Asche follows on 12 March 2027, with the arena tour beginning on 19 October 2027 in Oberhausen. The published route covers Germany, Austria and Switzerland, and includes dates in Berlin, Cologne, Zurich, Vienna and Frankfurt.
Berlin has two listed shows on 2 and 3 November 2027 at Uber Arena. The route then names Cologne on 8 November, Zurich on 13 November, Vienna on 15 November and Frankfurt on 17 November, extending the release story into the following autumn.
