Pixies were named as special guests for a 16-date US tour with Queens of the Stone Age announced on 22 October 2026. The North American run is part of the Perfecth World Tour and starts in San Diego on 1 May 2027.
Pixies join Queens of the Stone Age on a 2027 run
The announcement from American Family Insurance Amphitheater in Milwaukee lists Pixies and Wheelchair Sports Camp as support for every date. That venue page identifies a Milwaukee show on 15 May 2027, with both acts supporting Queens of the Stone Age. The details appear in the venue announcement.
The 16-date North American leg is part of the Perfecth World Tour, according to the published routing. It starts at Viejas Arena in San Diego on 1 May 2027 and ends at TD Garden in Boston on 24 May 2027. The itinerary also includes the Kia Forum in Inglewood, Red Rocks in Morrison and the American Family Insurance Amphitheater in Milwaukee.
Pixies’ Boston roots meet a new North American bill
Pixies formed in Boston and are identified with American alternative rock, punk energy and melodic pop writing. Britannica’s band history describes that combination and points to Surfer Rosa and Doolittle among the group’s key albums.
The official website describes 2026 as the 40th year of the band’s formation. That background gives the announced bill a clear musical link between a Boston alternative-rock band and a US arena itinerary led by Queens of the Stone Age. The catalogue also includes Bossanova and Trompe le Monde, extending the connection beyond a single touring cycle. The anniversary information appears on the official website.
The 2027 route takes Pixies from San Diego to Boston
Every listed date pairs Queens of the Stone Age with Pixies and Wheelchair Sports Camp. Among the middle dates, the itinerary reaches Oakland on 4 May 2027, Seattle on 7 May 2027 and Morrison on 12 May 2027.
Later stops include Columbus on 19 May 2027 and Detroit on 22 May 2027. Milwaukee falls between those dates, while Boston closes the listed run on 24 May 2027. Because the announcement covers the complete 16-date leg, Pixies’ role is consistent across the route.
