Yes have released the deluxe edition of Aurora on 2 October 2026 through InsideOutMusic/Sony Music, alongside a new video for Ariadne. The 20-track package adds instrumental versions of all 10 songs to the album sequence.
Yes turn Aurora into a two-layer release
The digital deluxe edition keeps the complete album at its centre, then follows it with instrumental versions of every track. The 20-track package places the vocal recordings before their instrumental counterparts.
The release also introduces a new video for Ariadne, directed by Matt Hutchings. The video gives the song a separate visual presentation alongside its place in the album sequence. The label credit and release date appear in WJRZ’s launch update.
Yes current line-up anchors the Aurora cycle
Steve Howe, Geoff Downes, Jon Davison, Billy Sherwood and Jay Schellen make up the current line-up. Howe also produced the record, linking the band’s present personnel with the album’s studio work.
The official Yes page identifies the group as a progressive rock band and presents Aurora as its 24th studio album. It also lists the album’s principal physical and digital configurations through the official Yes page. The standard sequence remains first, followed by instrumental versions, so the deluxe edition presents two passes through the record.
Yes pair deluxe formats with detailed sound mixes
Physical editions include a limited 180g light green 2LP, 2CD and Blu-ray artbook with poster, plus a limited 2CD and Blu-ray artbook. Both include artwork by Roger Dean and Freyja Dean, while a bonus disc carries the instrumentals.
The Blu-ray editions add Dolby Atmos, 5.1 surround and 24-bit stereo mixes. The package is also available as a gatefold 180g 2LP, special-edition CD digipak and digital album.
