Seasonal areas meet a working film studio
The holiday programme overlays a theme park that also contains the World-Famous Studio Tour. The tour is located in the Upper Lot and takes visitors behind the scenes of a working movie studio, where film and television sets remain part of the experience.
That setting gives the 2026 programme a distinct structure: seasonal activities are distributed among named themed areas, while the Studio Tour remains a separate established attraction in the same destination. The operator describes the park as a combination of a movie-based theme park, Studio Tour and Universal CityWalk entertainment complex. the operator’s overview identifies those elements and their relationship.
Visitors therefore encounter the holiday programme alongside attractions linked to Harry Potter, Nintendo, Illumination and Dr Seuss, rather than at a single seasonal market. The named areas also make the date useful for planning: the programme begins on 21 November, after the Halloween season has ended, and continues into the first days of January.
