Battery Life And Diving Specs

The owner's manual lists up to 21 days in smartwatch mode, up to 26 hours in GPS mode, and up to 25 hours in dive mode for the Descent G1 Solar. The same table shows 124 days in smartwatch mode with solar and 39 hours in GPS mode with solar.

Garmin says the watch is water rated to 10 ATM, or 100 meters, and the case uses leakproof inductive buttons with a sapphire lens. It also supports multiple dive modes, including air, nitrox, trimix, gauge, apnea, apnea hunt, and closed-circuit rebreather.
